Click here to view the link to the WebQuest I would like to edit. I plan to make changes to the introduction, task, and process. The WebQuest is good and has a great lesson, but is not as kid friendly as I think I could be. I want to make it a little more fun for the kids, instead of just words on the page.

The main problem with this WebQuest is that it lacks an artifact. I would change this WebQuest and have students use what they learn about the parts of a book to design a book cover using a PowerPoint slide. I would also have them write a dedication. I also eliminate the portion of the task that reads "By also knowing who wrote the book and who drew the pictures, you can tell the difference between the book you are reading versus the other books you read." That doesn't make sense to me. Just learning how to find a book in the library by it's title is good enough. I'm looking forward to seeing the final version!
