Wow! That was really good. I liked the very personal touch you speaking gave to the essay. I am sure Mrs. Proudfoot if she sees this will have tears in her eyes!
Kudos, Justine! Your photo story is a touching tribute to your teacher -now friend. You did a great job of adding a personal feel to your story. I am sure Mrs. Proudfoot - is exactly what her name says - PROUD!
You did a great job integrating narration and music! It is clear that you think good teachers should take a personal interest in the life of a child! It was a wonderful tribute to your former teacher. If you were to do this again think about using more images instead of slides of the words you are using in your narration. I would like to be looking at images while listening to you talk. This was a great job overall!
The thing that I like about your photo story that is different from the others I have seen is that I would consider it a photo essay like Denise has been mentioning. It helped me to better understand incorporating writing and images.
Great job using your own pictures and the narration was perfect for this. I like the style you had with how you made each view appear differently with movement.
I was born and raised in Grafton, WV. I am attending Fairmont State University, where I am a Graduate student pursuing a Masters of Education in Multi-Categorical Special Education. I graduated in May 2012 with a BAE in Elementary Ed. I was also involved with the Fairmont State Honors Program and was a Freshman Counselor on the campus for two years. I like how you self narrated everything, it was a very good photo story.

ReplyDeleteWell, I can certainly tell you that Mrs. Proudfoot's son had tears in his eyes watching it! What a nice video!
ReplyDeleteEveryone should be lucky enough to have a teacher like Mrs. Proudfoot.
